Q: I’m not a good doodler/drawer. Should I still give it a try?
A: For sure! Doodling is so good for our brains. It helps our memories, relieves anxiety, and helps us exercise our creative muscles. You don’t even have to love art to love doodling. We’re all born ready to create and interpret images as messages. It’s like a language you forgot you knew!
Q: Do I need anything special to participate?
A: Nope, not really. If you have a pen, stylus, pencil, crayon, paintbrush or chalk you can participate.
Q: Do I have to use my Instagram account to share my doodles?
A: No - we now have an exclusive Facebook group I'd love to invite you to - just sign up below and you'll get the information once your email is confirmed.
Just a quick note - if you do choose to use Instagram, I would LOVE to see your doodles – but can’t view them (even with the hashtag) if your account is private. If you’re not comfortable making your Instagram public, consider creating a separate account just for your doodles.
Q: What if I signed up late? Can I get previous doodles?
A: YES! All previous month's doodles for this year are housed in the Facebook group to reference later. :)
Q: Do I have to doodle the prompt for that day?
A: No, not at all! The prompts are there to motivate you and inspire you (should you need it). Don't worry if you don't like the prompt for the day - just draw!
